Hyaluronic Fillers & Biostimulators
Hyaluronic fillers come in a variety of consistencies to provide a look of restored volume and structure to different areas on the face. As we age, our dermal tissue thins out as our collagen matrix becomes slower to repair itself, the fat in our face diminishes and our bone structure recedes. Filler products such as Juvederm, Restalyne, and Revanesse Versa allows us to rebuild the structural “pillars” to restore a youthful look. Fillers can also be used to enhance volume to lips and under the eyes. Here at Emmanuel Skinscience Medspa, we believe that the best injectables are the least detectable. We aim for a natural look that looks refreshed and beautiful.
Biostimulators such as Sculptra and Radiesse function differently than hyaluronic filler as they are injected to stimulate the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin to repair and rebuild aged and lost dermal tissue. So instead of functioning as “pillars”, biostimulators actually help to improve skin tissue in form and function. The build of collagen is very natural looking as it is created evenly as nature would intend it.
One of the primary benefits of hyaluronic fillers is their ability to effectively combat volume loss, a common sign of aging. These fillers can plump up areas that have lost volume, such as hollow areas under the eyes, creating a more youthful and revitalized appearance. They are also highly effective in enhancing thinning lips, softening smile or laugh lines, and enhancing facial contour and definition.
Biostimulators work by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production, leading to longer-lasting improvements in skin texture and firmness. They are particularly effective in treating deeper skin depressions, such as scarring. They can also reduce the appearance of décolleté (chest area) lines, restoring a smoother and more youthful skin texture. Unlike hyaluronic fillers that offer immediate results, biostimulators provide gradual improvements over time, resulting in a natural enhancement of the skin’s condition.
